This is a rich and detailed site about Jónas Hallgrímsson (1807-1845), "the best loved and most admired poet of modern Iceland." The entire site contains many illustrations, but visitors to Travels in 19th-Century Iceland will likely find The Jónas Tour to be of most interest. |
